Angola’s Exported US$23.5M of Ornamental Stones in 2021

Revenues from the export of ornamental stones in Angola reached 23.5 million U.S. dollars in 2021, an official said Tuesday.

In a press briefing, Angolan Secretary of State for Mineral Resources Janio Correia Victor said the increase in revenues of ornamental stones resulted from the growth of production, which rose from 47,000 cubic meters in 2017 to 70,000 cubic meters in 2021.

China, Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Vietnam are among the major markets for Angola’s ornamental stones, said the official.
