Banco Angolano de Investimentos (BAI) launched on Tuesday its first Public Subscription Offer (PSO) of bonds, with a total value of up to €46.7 million, open to the public until 14 September 2026.
The process is being conducted through the market platform managed by Angola’s Debt and Securities Exchange (BODIVA), acting in its capacity as manager of regulated markets, which publicly announced the operation in an official statement.
The offer covers the issuance of five million bonds, each with a nominal unit value of €933, bringing the total nominal value to up to €46.7 million at the current exchange rate.
The securities are representative of the bond loan denominated ‘BAI Senior Unsecured Sustainability’.
“This pioneering operation opens the way for new issuers and investors interested in sustainable debt instruments, reinforcing the maturity and diversification of the national capital market,” BODIVA said in the statement.
Physical and financial settlement of the bonds subscribed under the offer is scheduled for 21 September 2026, according to the announcement.
