Angola Launches First Tourism Investment Guide at ITB Berlin 2026

The Executive will launch the Angola Tourism Doing Business Investment Guide at a side event to ITB Berlin, which runs from the 3rd to the 5th of this month.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism, this initiative aims to consolidate the sector’s position as one of the main drivers of national economic diversification.

The launch of Tourism Doing Business will take place during the “Angola Leaders Dinner,” an exclusive event organized in partnership with the Global Forum for Tourism and UN Tourism, at which the country will be represented at the highest level by the Minister of State for Economic Coordination, José de Lima Massano, and the Minister of Tourism, Márcio Daniel.

The document, designed with the support of UN Tourism, is a strategic tool for promoting investment opportunities in the sector, bringing together essential technical, legal, and economic information for domestic and foreign investors interested in actively participating in the transformation of Angolan tourism.

Angola Tourism Doing Business consolidates an organized portfolio of opportunities in priority areas such as ecotourism, nature tourism, hotel development, resorts, cultural and historical tourism, as well as structural projects in regions with high potential, with emphasis on the Okavango region and coastal areas of recognized natural and environmental value.

The initiative also strengthens institutional coordination and promotes greater predictability, legal certainty, and speed in administrative processes related to tourism investment, which are key factors for improving the business environment.

By clearly and strategically structuring existing opportunities, Angola also reiterates its ambition to position itself as a competitive tourist destination in the African and international context.
