Angola and Pakistan Discuss Promotion of Investment Opportunities

On Tuesday (3), Angola and Pakistan discussed strengthening their friendly relations and cooperation, with a particular focus on promoting investment opportunities and boosting business partnerships.

The analysis was made at a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, on Tuesday, March 3, and the Honorary Consul for Pakistani Investments in Angola, Zubair Imam Malik.

During the meeting, according to a press release from MIREX, the two interlocutors exchanged views on the current state of bilateral relations between the two states, as well as on the prospects for deepening economic cooperation.

The occasion also provided an opportunity to analyze mechanisms that facilitate exchanges between Angolan and Pakistani businesspeople, with a view to diversifying the national economy and increasing the flow of private capital.

The creation of favorable conditions for foreign investment also received attention during the meeting between the Angolan foreign minister and the Pakistani honorary consul.
