Casio has added the new MTP-E735AR series to its global catalogue, a line of analogue watches combining stainless steel construction with a slimmer profile and textured dials. The collection comprises five models and targets a more sophisticated aesthetic while retaining features aimed at the brand’s entry-level segment.
One of the series’ principal visual elements is the integrated design between the stainless steel case and bracelet. The case, finished in silver, measures 44.5 mm in length, 37.5 mm in width, and 8.4 mm in thickness. Weighing 89 grams, the watch also features an adjustable clasp compatible with wrist sizes between 150 and 205 mm.
The dials are distinguished by a raised arabesque pattern covering the entire surface, replacing the plain finishes more commonly found on watches in this category. Casio offers five colour options — black, dark blue, ice blue, turquoise blue, and white — each paired with different shades of hands and markers to aid legibility.
Internally, the models are powered by a three-hand analogue quartz movement responsible for displaying hours, minutes, and seconds. The movement offers an estimated accuracy of ±20 seconds per month. At the three o’clock position, a display window shows the day of the week and the date.
Another feature of the series is a bilingual calendar that allows the day of the week to be displayed in either English or Arabic. Power is supplied by an SR920SW battery, with an estimated lifespan of approximately three years before replacement is required.
The new series has also been designed for everyday wear. The watches feature a flat mineral glass crystal and water resistance to 50 metres, equivalent to 5 bar. This level of protection covers exposure to rain and splashes, as well as water activities including surface swimming.
Although the five models now appear in Casio’s international catalogue, the manufacturer has not yet announced an official retail price or a confirmed date for their arrival in stores. Distribution across major global markets is expected before the end of the year.
