Submission of Applications for the Integrated Management Systems Development Project (DIMS)

The GIZ WE4D Programme is launching a call for applications for the Development of Integrated Management Systems (DIMS) project.

The specific objective of DIMS is to support the implementation and development of the latest Integrated Management Systems (IMS) in women-led enterprises in the following countries: Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda and Malawi.

This call is specifically aimed at Mozambican SMEs.

The initiative focuses on SMEs operating in the green sectors covered by WE4D, namely:

• Sustainable agriculture and agro-processing;

• Ecotourism;

• Blue economy and aquaculture;

• Renewable energies;

• Circular economy, waste management, biomass;

• Transport and logistics;

• Civil construction.

To be eligible, a company must:

• Operate in the above-mentioned green sectors;

• Have between 4 and 100 employees;

• Have annual sales between USD 3,000 and USD 105,000;

• Be registered and in compliance with the competent authorities of the respective country;

• Be owned or led by women (with 51% or more of the capital held by women);

• Be willing to contribute financially to certification: USD 560 for SIG (3 Standards)

• USD 280 for one Standard (which corresponds to approximately 21% of the total cost of certification);

• Be willing to take on interns.
