The Mozambican Importer of Petroleum (IMOPETRO) assures that the imports of petroleum products are running smoothly, with no indications of rupture of fuel stock in the country, despite the price oscillations in the international market.
IMOPETRO says it started the week with 29 days of gasoline stock, 38 of oil, 19 of diesel and 16 days of cooking gas.
The Director of Operations and Shipments, at IMOPETRO, Abiba Amade, even says, quoted by Radio Mozambique, “that ships with fuel continue to arrive in the country.”
“Right now, we have three ships in Maputo – one has already unloaded, we are now unloading the gas ship. And we have two more, which are coming, with jet gasoline and diesel. In Beira, we have two ships waiting to dock and unload. In Nacala, one has just arrived to unload jet. In Pemba, we finished today the unloading of a ship with gasoline and diesel”, he said.
Abiba Amade said that the entity he manages makes monthly imports of petroleum products and ensures regular supply in the market.
