The World Bank wants to continue working with the Mozambican government to ensure that universal access to electricity in 2030 becomes a reality.
The commitment was made Friday by the World Bank’s vice president for Africa, Victoria Kwakwa, during her meeting with the Mozambican Minister of Economy and Finance.
Max Tonela is in Washington to attend the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group, according to a statement received by our office.
The World Bank Vice President for Africa, expressed concern over the current level of access to energy achieved so far, considering the figures are still low.
