Sasol Mozambique is receiving expressions of interest for works to be conducted on its PSA licence in Mozambique. The energy company holds a licence in Inhambane for which it is seeking EPCm (Engineering, Procurement and Construction management) services for its oil and gas production facility.
Bidders interested in formalising an expression of interest must be registered in Mozabique. An express of interest should be submited, along with supporting documents, by January 13, 2021. For this project, Sasol aims to supply gas to the Central Térmica de Temane power project and also LPG for local consumption in the areas surrounding the project.
The Inhassoro, Temane, and Pande fields included in the PSA license area will provide the resource base.
Sasol is seeking a company to design, procure and construct a processing facility, with LPG storage and dispatch capability. This will be located next to the central processing facility (CPF) in Temane.
The EPCm work will cover new oil stabilisation, gas processing and LPG production facility, water treatment package units, utility package systems and related interfaces.
Bidders must have experience in Mozambique, or in a similar country, with capability for managing large multi-disciplinary teams. They must also have specific knowledge of designing to Sasol’s specifications, it said, and a commitment to local content requirements.
