She emphasised the importance of a methodical and thorough approach, even if time-consuming, as essential for the project’s long-term success. Bernardo also shared suggestions for enhancing the project’s outcomes and expressed openness to building synergies between ENH and GMNK on shared objectives.
Carlos Yum, Director General of GMNK, reaffirmed the project’s commitment to sustainable development and collaboration. He expressed readiness to work closely with ENH on areas of mutual interest, further strengthening Mozambique’s position as a leader in sustainable energy development. The meeting underscored a shared commitment to ensuring the Mphanda Nkuwa project aligns with Mozambique’s energy transition goals and socio-economic priorities.
The Mphanda Nkuwa project represents a key initiative in Mozambique’s push for energy transition and sustainable development. By fostering collaboration between ENH and GMNK, the project aims to address environmental concerns, drive socio-economic growth, and enhance Mozambique’s energy infrastructure, ensuring long-term benefits for local communities and the country’s energy landscape.
