The company CFM Logistics, created less than a year ago, has already started port operations linked to the oil and gas industry in the Port of Pemba, Cabo Delgado province, already aiming to add new businesses to that enterprise.
CFM Logistic was created and is exclusively owned by Empresa Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique (CFM), as part of the implementation of that company’s strategy of participating in the oil and gas industry in the country.
The emergence of the company also responds to the mandate given by the government for CFM to be a relevant player and a reference in oil and gas logistics in the national market.
The information was provided a few days ago in Maputo by the President of the Board of Directors (PCA) of CFM, Agostinho Langa, at a meeting of its Board of Directors.
In a similar development, CFM Logistics will in July resume maritime services at the Port of Nacala, Nampula province, as part of a short- and medium-term strategy to ensure participation in offshore operations.
