With over 100 years of history in Mozambican hospitality, Hotel Cardoso embarks on a new chapter by unveiling its newly renovated conference rooms, “reaffirming its role as a benchmark in the tourism and events sector in Mozambique.”
According to a press release, this initiative is part of the celebrations marking 50 years of Mozambique’s Independence, serving as a way to “reassert its leading role in the country’s tourism and events sector.”
“With this new phase, Hotel Cardoso strengthens its contribution to boosting the national economy by actively promoting tourism, creating new business opportunities, and fostering institutional and corporate relations in the country,” the statement highlights.
The hotel management is hosting a series of events to present the rehabilitation and restructuring project — an initiative aimed at “adapting the space to current challenges and demands while preserving the charm and legacy that define this historic establishment.”
According to the release, the event agenda will focus on the impact of tourism on national development, highlighting the role that Hotel Cardoso “has played — and will continue to play — as a meeting point for business, culture, leisure, and economic growth in Mozambique.”
Additionally, on June 26, 2025, a special Business Networking event will be held for clients and partners. The goal is to present the hotel’s new spaces as venues for training sessions, seminars, cocktail events, weddings, and other special occasions.
