Hundreds of people, both national and foreign, enjoyed the traditional cultural dances of Mozambique and India. The event, held on Saturday night at the UEM University Cultural Centre in Maputo, is part of the 5th edition of the India-Mozambique Cultural Night, which aims to promote cultural partnership between the two countries.

On the occasion, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Eldevina Materula, highlighted the importance of Mozambique capitalising on strategic partnerships to export Mozambican culture across borders.

For his part, the Indian High Commissioner to Mozambique, Shri Robert Shetkintong, expressed his country’s willingness to cooperate with Mozambique in various areas that allow for multi-sectoral development in both countries.

The 5th edition of the India – Mozambique Cultural Night was organised by the Indian Cultural Association.
