Elon Musk Admits Tesla has Quality Problems in his Electric Cars

Despite all the care Tesla takes in the production of its cars, there are well documented cases of problems. These situations are not always recognised and accepted by the brand, which prefers to ignore these situations.

The scenario seems to have changed and it was Elon Musk himself who admitted that Tesla electric cars have quality problems. This came out in an interview and reveals that after all many of the situations reported are not fictitious or false.

There are well known cases of problems with the construction of Tesla cars. Although occasional, these situations reveal that the brand of Elon Musk does not always take the necessary care in the manufacturing processes. These were not expected, but the truth is that they happen.

One of the biggest critics of Tesla and Elon Musk has been Sandy Munro. This engineer dismantled his Tesla Model 3 a few years ago and criticized the brand a lot. His comparison was such that in the street opinion this electric car was “comparable to a 1990 Kia”.

Musk and Munro met now and in an interview talked about many topics. One of them was the quality problems in Tesla electric cars. Elon Musk agreed from the beginning and recognized the problems of building their cars.

Musk from Tesla also explained the reason for these quality problems. By increasing production levels, they end up shortening the duration of some processes, which end up being the reason for the failures.

An example was given in a question that is often received. When is the best time to buy a Tesla. Elon Musk’s answer points to the start of sales or only after the manufacturing processes have reached their peak. Electric cars manufactured during the production increase end up being the ones with the most problems.
