From now on, all Toyota and Hino vehicles purchased in Mozambique are factory installed with the Cartrack system and free subscription for three years. The Connected service for Toyota and Hino was launched earlier this month by Africa’s leading CFAO Motors in collaboration with Cartrack, wholly owned by Karooo Limitada.
According to a statement shared with DE, the partnership will give owners of Toyota and Hino brand vehicles access to an integrated suite of mobility solutions using Cartrack’s operations cloud, while the Connected services “will deliver transformative benefits to corporate customers, spanning systems integration and connectivity, customer service and delivery management, security and fleet management, risk mitigation and eco-efficiency.”
The sale of Toyota and Hino vehicles is operated exclusively by CFAO Motors Mozambique which caters to the needs of Africa. Its business is based on the philosophy “With Africa For Africa” with the ideal of having a leadership provided by people from Africa and operating businesses based on the wealth of know-how and experience accumulated locally over decades.
“This value-added service will deepen the reputation for exceptional customer service, quality, reliability and innovation that this leading brand has built over its long history on the continent. Cartrack’s mobility platform will provide real-time actionable insights to customers, enabling them to digitally transform and better manage their business in a dynamic and challenging operating environment,” the document reports.
Cartrack is a relevant player in the segment of providing mobility solutions, serving more than 1.5 million vehicles and equipment, connected in 23 countries. Both companies already collaborate in Malawi.
