Bubble Cloud Mozambique, a cloud computing provider, has expanded its local infrastructure with the launch of two Availability Zones in Mozambique, enabling organisations to deploy high-availability architectures and disaster recovery solutions while keeping applications and data hosted within the country.
The announcement was made at the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance Mozambique (BFSI) 2026 summit. With two Availability Zones now operational, organisations have broader options to design cloud architectures aligned with their specific requirements for availability, operational continuity, and disaster recovery.
“Availability needs vary from organisation to organisation. With two Availability Zones, our clients can now design cloud infrastructures suited to the operational requirements of each organisation,” said Cameron Smith, Business Development Director at Bubble, in a press statement.
According to the company, each Availability Zone is built on independent infrastructure, deployed across two geographically separate sites approximately 20 kilometres apart. This configuration allows organisations to design distributed architectures that match the availability levels required for each individual service.
The expansion reinforces Bubble’s value proposition of keeping applications and data within Mozambique, enabling organisations to simultaneously meet their technical, operational, and data residency requirements.
