The Government of Mozambique in partnership with the Global Fund and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) launched, this month, the first stone for construction of the molecular biology laboratory in the city of Tete.
With an investment budgeted at 15 million Meticals, the infrastructure is expected to strengthen and massify the testing and diagnosis of Covid-19 in that region.

The Director of the Governor’s Office, Romeo Sandoca, representing the Chief of the Provincial Executive Council, assured that the construction of the molecular laboratory is also a challenge from the executive to continue to raise the awareness of the population in that region that since June has confirmed cases of Covid-19 Delta Variant.
