Mozambican Startups Invited to Submit Proposals for Funding

The Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA), in partnership with Renew Capital (an investment consultant from Colorado, USA), held a webinar to publicise the criteria and requirements for accessing the financing line available for startups.

It is a mechanism of financial support in the form of capital reimbursement for companies with development potential.

Renew Capital is an Africa-focused company that supports innovative companies with high growth potential through investments made on behalf of Renew Capital Angels.

With the fund, CTA aims to promote a financing alternative for start-ups, a segment that faces difficulties to finance itself in a market where financial solutions tend to support already structured companies with borrowing capacity.

Renew Capital has equity solutions for startups in various sectors ranging from $500 (about 31,000 meticais) to $5 million (316 million meticais).

Interested startups can register here and submit their proposals at this link.
