The Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education provides around one hundred and forty million meticais to finance technological innovations.
The amount is intended for about fifty projects aimed at the agriculture, energy and tourism sectors, through innovation and transfer of technology.
The figures were published on Wednesday by the Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Daniel Nivagara, at the second coordinating council of the sector, which is being held in the city of Beira.
Daniel Navagara pointed out that the impact of the innovation projects and the transference of agricultural technologies are benefiting about four thousand farmers in the country.
