Applications are being accepted on the website of the National Institute for Support to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), with training beginning on January 26, in person in Ghana and via e-learning (online).
The program aims to train 7,500 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across Africa, strengthening digital skills for the marketing of goods and services in the African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) market.
The training program is promoted by the Angolan Embassy in the Republic of Ghana, with the support of Google Hustle Academy. The in-person sessions had 5,000 participants and the e-learning sessions had 2,500 participants. According to INAPEM, the training program in question is aligned with the strategic objectives of the AFCFTA and the Protocol on Digital.
One of the program’s objectives is to prepare entrepreneurs to promote cross-border digital trade, market access, innovation, and the growth of MSMEs in eligible AFCFTA member states, including Angola, a country that faces the challenge of strengthening and developing micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
