It is scheduled for today, Wednesday, February 22, the start in Maputo, of the seventh ordinary session of Parliament, referring to the ninth legislature for the year 2023.
For that ordinary session, about 30 issues have been scheduled, with emphasis on the questions to the Government, the annual information of the Attorney General and the analysis of the Sovereign Fund bill.
According to the spokesman of the parliamentary bench of the Front for the Liberation of Mozambique (FRELIMO), Feliz Silvia, the session is expected to run smoothly and important laws for the country will be passed.
The spokesman for the National Resistance of Mozambique (RENAMO), Arnaldo Chalaua, said that his party would do its utmost to ensure that the legislative output of this session responds to the current concerns of the Mozambican people.
The Mozambique Democratic Movement (MDM), in the voice of Fernando Bismarque, stressed that it “will not rest” until the different matters listed are approved.
