Mozambique is participating from this Tuesday, 24 May, until next Wednesday, 1 June, in the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum, which takes place in Davos, Switzerland.
The event will address, among other issues, global cooperation, economic balance, energy transition, industrial revolution, industrial transformation, risk and resilience.
According to Radio Mozambique, the Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Carlos Zacarias, who is representing the President of the Republic at the meeting, will take part in several debates, including one on the theme “Energy Prospects and Overcoming the Crisis, Resilient and Responsible Supply Chains and Dialogue on Carbon Market”.
A document from the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy also said that Mozambique’s participation in the World Economic Forum was of capital importance as it was a platform for dialogue on current issues, for establishing and promoting cooperation partnerships and investment promotion for the country.
