Around seven billion meticais are required for the socio-economic reconstruction of the district town of Palma, in Cabo Delgado, recently vandalised by terrorists.
The announcement was made by the Minister of State Administration and Public Service, Ana Comoana, who visited the village this Monday as the mandatary of the President of the Republic Filipe Nyusi.
“It is difficult, extremely difficult, shocking, it is violent, it is revolting because it is the administrative machine destroyed, it is infrastructures and behind all this administrative machine and infrastructures, are the human, financial, patrimonial resources that cost centuries to build and in one fell swoop, we see that we have lost all this. We have to prepare our administrative machinery to reinstall itself, we have no other option but to rebuild Palma and for that, we have to be prepared”, said the Minister of State Administration and Public Service, after visiting this Monday the town of Palma, which recently was the target of a terrorist attack.
