A total of 100 inspectors and members of the Public Ethics Commissions are receiving training on prevention and fight against corruption, with the aim of providing them with the necessary resources and information to facilitate the identification of risk situations or signs of embezzlement and concussion in their workplace.
According to AIM, the training is being conducted at a Seminar organized by the Central Office for Combating Corruption (GCCC) in partnership with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education (MCTES), which will also enable the trainees to enhance their knowledge on elements that should be taken into consideration in the prevention and fight against corruption.
Speaking on Tuesday, September 27 in Maputo at the opening of the event, the Permanent Secretary of the MCTES, Nilsa Miquidade, made it known that her institution, as part of the implementation of the Public Administration Reform Strategy, 2012-2025, and the Five-Year Government Programme, has been developing a set of internal actions to promote good practices in the management of public affairs.
