Finance Minister Carla Louveira will represent Mozambique at Infra Forum Africa 2026 and the Africa50 General Shareholders’ Assembly, both scheduled for 5 and 6 August in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The two events will bring together political leaders, investors, and financial institutions to discuss the financing and development of infrastructure across the continent.
Infra Forum Africa 2026 will convene heads of state and government, senior officials from international financial institutions, development partners, investors, infrastructure specialists, and private sector executives.
Discussions at the forum will focus on solutions to accelerate infrastructure development across Africa, as well as issues related to energy security and the continent’s industrial transformation.
Mozambique will be represented by a delegation led by Minister Louveira, which will also include senior officials from the ministries of Finance, Mineral Resources and Energy, and Communications and Digital Transformation.
According to the government, Mozambique’s participation reflects the country’s commitment to the continental agenda for infrastructure development, promoting economic growth, financial stability, and regional integration.
In addition to Infra Forum Africa 2026, the delegation will attend the Africa50 General Shareholders’ Assembly, also taking place in Dar es Salaam during the same period.
Both events are expected to convene governments, international financial institutions, development partners, and private sector representatives to identify solutions that accelerate infrastructure investment and strengthen regional cooperation.
