Civil Servants Already Begun to Receive Salaries Based on the New Single Wage Scale

The Government has said that it is already paying salaries for the month of October based on the new Single Wage Table (TSU).

A note from the Ministry of Economy and Finance revealed this morning, Monday, 31 October, that by 12 noon “Payment Orders (PO) had already been processed and generated for an accumulated total of 216 036 employees and agents of the State since the process began on the 26th.

The Bank of Mozambique and commercial banks have been receiving and crediting the POs in the bank accounts of civil servants since the weekend, the statement said, and also said that “the sheets are now available for the sectors to comply, that is, to check that the data contained is indeed what was expected by the sector based on applicable legislation.

The Government “calls on employees who have responsibility for the verification and compliance of payrolls in their respective sectors to go to their workplaces or to the nearest e-SISTAFE laboratory, to check the sheets and bring them into conformity.
