The Minister of Interior (MINT), Arsénia Massingue, ensured this Saturday, November 12, that the challenges of implementing the new Single Wage Scale (TSU) in the paramilitary areas of this institution will be overcome soon.
The leader explained that this is a complex process because before the civil service had around 50 salary scales and the union of all of them into one ended up being subject to failures, but the important thing is that the Government is aware of the situation and willing to correct it.
Arsénia Massingue was speaking on Saturday during a graduation that she led in the city of Tete, as part of the conclusion of her four-day visit to this region of the country, with the purpose of assessing the degree of compliance with the Government’s Five Year Plan (PQG).
“Harmonising more than 50 salary scales into one is a delicate process, so the Government itself decided to set up a commission to respond to all the concerns that may exist. We have already reported the problems that exist at the level of our ministry, we await the response. As soon as they are solved, they will be covered with the retroactive amounts duly foreseen”, she assured.
The Minister of the Interior encouraged the paramilitaries to continue working, stating that the Government would never harm the Defence and Security Forces. She also said that the TSU will not be the last barrier to be crossed, as the Ministry is aware of the various challenges that the paramilitary areas go through, such as the need for the improvement of facilities and working conditions. On these adversities, he promised that MINT will resolve them gradually.
