Nedbank Mozambique Wins Best Behaviour Change Campaign at COMARP Awards 2026

Nedbank Mozambique has been awarded the prize for Best Behaviour Change Campaign at the COMARP Awards 2026, in recognition of its 'Get Financially Fit' campaign — a local adaptation of the Nedbank Group's global Money Fit initiative.

According to a statement from the bank, the campaign aims to encourage individuals to take a more active role in managing their personal finances, promoting more conscious, disciplined, and sustainable financial behaviours. Drawing on a comparison between financial health and physical fitness, the initiative seeks to demonstrate that achieving financial stability and well-being is a continuous process requiring planning, consistency, and responsible decision-making over time.

The message was brought closer to the public through the participation of athletes Mauro Raja, Milton Caifaz, and Jéssica Ubisse, who became the faces of the campaign and helped make financial topics more accessible and relevant to the everyday realities of Mozambicans.

"This award recognises a campaign that reflects our values and our conviction that the role of a bank goes beyond the provision of financial services. We want to empower our clients and communities to make more informed and sustainable decisions, contributing to their long-term financial well-being. More than communicating, we seek to generate impact and promote positive changes in the way people relate to money," said Joel Rodrigues, Chief Executive Officer of Nedbank Mozambique.

The COMARP Awards recognise professionals, companies, and teams that stand out in the fields of Communication, Marketing, and Public Relations in the national market. The 2026 edition featured an international jury comprising professionals from Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, Portugal, Brazil, Cabo Verde, and Angola.

The recognition comes in a particularly symbolic year for Nedbank Mozambique, which is marking 15 years of operations in the country. The bank highlights its commitment throughout this period to innovation, client proximity, and the promotion of financial inclusion and literacy.
