Moza Banco clients will be entitled to a 5% discount on products sold by Farmácias de Moçambique (FARMAC) following a memorandum of understanding signed on Thursday, 9 July, in Maputo.
According to a statement received by Diário Económico, the agreement establishes a strategic partnership between the two institutions, creating conditions for the development of joint initiatives that bring financial services closer to the promotion of health and well-being for Mozambicans.
For Moza Banco’s Executive Committee President, Manuel Soares, the partnership represents a further step in the institution’s strategy of building alliances that add value to the lives of its clients.
“At Moza we believe that banking must go beyond financial services. It must create solutions that ease people’s daily lives and contribute to their well-being. This partnership with FARMAC reflects exactly that commitment, allowing our clients to access tangible benefits in an area as important as health,” Soares said.
For his part, FARMAC’s Managing Director, Gustavo M. da Cruz, highlighted that the partnership is aligned with the company’s strategic vision of strengthening the quality of its services and developing solutions that generate value for Mozambicans.
“This partnership reflects our growth vision built on quality. As a state-owned enterprise, we have a responsibility to serve Mozambicans with excellence, but our ambition goes beyond that role. We want to be recognised as a true health and well-being partner, promoting initiatives and establishing partnerships that create value and reinforce public trust,” da Cruz said.
According to Gustavo M. da Cruz, the association with Moza Banco fits within this objective, as both institutions share values such as proximity, trust, and a commitment to improving the quality of life of Mozambicans.
Beyond the immediate benefits for clients, the memorandum establishes a framework for cooperation that will enable the development of joint initiatives aimed at value creation, the promotion of health and well-being literacy, and the strengthening of institutional collaboration, to the benefit of clients and society at large.
