Under the terms of the memorandum, Millennium bim will take on an enhanced role in supporting investment by providing competitive financial solutions and guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle—from entry to expansion.

At the same time, cooperation with APIEX is expected to strengthen investment attraction in priority sectors and promote a more integrated approach in engaging with foreign investors.

Quoted in the statement, the CEO of Millennium bim, Rui Pedro, said: “This partnership reinforces Millennium bim’s position as an active agent in driving investment in Mozambique, creating the conditions for the implementation of strategic projects with real impact on the economy.” Meanwhile, the Director-General of APIEX, IP, Luís Machava, highlighted that “the agreement represents progress in the country’s ability to attract foreign direct investment, offering investors a more integrated and efficient response.”

Planned initiatives under the partnership include participation in economic promotion activities, with a focus on the Annual Private Sector Conference (FACIM), support for the structuring of the Foreign Investor Guide, and the organization of economic briefings aimed at potential investors.
