Absa Bank Mozambique inaugurated last Friday a new branch model in the city of Chimoio, Manica Province, with a new image and organization.
The new branch opened in that city, is inserted in the reinforcement of the proximity with the clients and in the bet on technology, aiming to give a new operational dynamics in the organizational structure. “The aim is to serve customers in a consistent, proactive and closer way,” the bank said.
According to the director of Retail Banking and Business of Absa Bank Mozambique, Pedro Carvalho, the venture will allow the bank to support the country in relaunching the economy, through the empowerment of local entrepreneurs.
“We are working in coordination with local economic agents, in order to take our services to all districts of the province, through partnerships with entities that are already on the ground and together contribute to the economy of this country”, said Carvalho.
For the director of the Bank of Mozambique, Chimoio branch, Maria Majimeja, the reopening of the branch will serve as an incentive to attract more credit institutions to Manica and also to other districts that still lack the physical presence of financial services.
