“The initiative will be the Mozambique Investment Summit, which will be held in October or November in Maputo, so that we can feel the energy and spirit and look at some of the investment opportunities in the country,” he said.

According to Barends, during the meeting, the President of the Republic emphasized the importance of attracting foreign investment and institutionalizing the annual holding of the summit as an instrument to boost the Mozambican economy.

The official said that the vision presented by Daniel Chapo is based on the need to strengthen strategic sectors such as infrastructure, tourism, and energy, with a direct impact on economic and social development.
