The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) will support the country in the reinforcement of the decentralization policies in the provinces of Sofala, Manica and Cabo Delgado.
In fact, the project of decentralization for development, to be implemented in the next four years, was launched this Friday in Pemba, Cabo Delgado province.
According to the UNDP representative, Cristino Pedraza, the project, valued at around seven million dollars, foresees several activities that include the establishment of a planning platform.
The socialization seminar of the decentralization for development project counted with the participation of the governor of Cabo Delgado, for whom the inclusion, induction and capacity building of the actors will be fundamental.
The Secretary of State in Cabo Delgado province, António Supeia, who led the Project launching ceremony, stated that the initiative is one more support to the ongoing efforts, aiming to better serve the citizen.
