Research and Science Projects Highlight ISUTC Scientific Days

The Higher Institute of Transport and Communications (ISUTC) held the 3rd edition of the Scientific Days in Maputo, an event featuring the presentation of 58 scientific research projects developed by faculty and students in the areas of management, economics and finance, sustainability, civil construction, and engineering.

The event, held under the theme “Promoting Sustainable Development through Innovation in Technology and Management,” included two roundtables on the challenges of the foreign exchange market and digital transformation in Mozambique, fostering dialogue between academics, professionals, and students.

On the occasion, Professor Fernando Leite, Director-General of ISUTC, highlighted the importance of the event, stating, “These Scientific Days are proof of ISUTC’s commitment to promoting scientific research and innovation. We aim to train professionals capable of proposing practical solutions to the country’s challenges, contributing to a more sustainable future.”

At the closing, three students were recognized for the scientific merit of their work:

  • António Chicanet – Best Scientific Content
  • Ricardo Amós – Best Oral Presentation
  • Tamiris Henriqueta Mabjaia – Best Work and Woman Researcher – SheLeads Mozambique

The Scientific Days reaffirm ISUTC’s role as a center of excellence in teaching, research, and the development of technological solutions for Mozambique.
