Reconstruction of Tourist Infrastructure Destroyed by Terrorists Valued at $67M

The reconstruction of tourist infrastructures destroyed by terrorists in Cabo Delgado is estimated at US$67 million.

There are 44 tourist establishments vandalised, affecting more than 300 workers, according to the provincial director of Culture and Tourism, in Cabo Delgado, Yolanda Almeida.

“We think that it will be quite good the return of all the ventures. We have put forward a proposal for recovery, not a definitive proposal, but a preliminary one, based on the cadastre and the register of establishments we have in the districts,” she said.
