The Prime Minister, Adriano Maleiane, is participating in Qatar in the 5th United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries, representing the Mozambican President, Filipe Nyusi.
The conference, which begins this Sunday, aims to reach an agreement for the establishment of a renewed partnership between the Least Developed Countries and their development partners in order to face structural challenges, eradicate poverty and achieve the internationally agreed development goals, among other points.
According to a communiqué received by our newsroom, during the event, there will be a debate in which States will have to reiterate their position on the various issues on the agenda of the Least Developed Countries.
The Prime-Minister participated, this Saturday, in the Summit of the Group of Least Developed Countries in which matters related to the challenges and respective ones to ensure the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals were addressed.
