Mozambican President, Filipe Nyusi, will visit South Korea from today until Wednesday to take part in the first Korea-Africa summit in Seoul, the presidency announced today in a statement.

‘The Korea-Africa summit will be attended by other heads of state and government from the African continent, representatives of multilateral organisations and chief executives of Korean and African companies,’ the Presidency said in the document.

The summit, from Tuesday to Wednesday, will take place under the slogan ‘The Future We Build Together: Economic Growth, Sustainability and Solidarity’.

The Mozambican head of state, who is visiting South Korea at the invitation of his counterpart Yoon Suk-Yeol, will also take part in the Korea-Africa business forum.

‘On the sidelines of the summit, the Mozambican President will hold a bilateral meeting with his counterpart from the Republic of Korea, as well as meeting with chief executives of South Korean companies and the Mozambican community resident in the Republic of Korea,’ concluded the Mozambican Presidency.
