The government guarantees that it is making efforts to respond to the demands of health professionals.
This assurance was given by the spokesperson for the Council of Ministers at the end of another ordinary session of the executive, which met this Tuesday in Maputo.
Filimão Suazi explained that judging by the progress of the negotiations, it is expected that the concerns of the health professionals will soon be overcome.
The government is also optimistic about the extension of the European Union mission to train the Defence and Security Forces.
Filimão Suazi indicated that the measure could help consolidate the progress made so far in the fight against terrorism in the north of the country.
And speaking of consolidating the progress made in the fight against terrorism, this is making it possible to move forward with voter registration in the Quissanga district.
The government says that, so far, more than 40 per cent of the expected number of voters in that part of Cabo Delgado province have been registered.
At the meeting, the government also analysed information on the declaration of the end of the Wild Poliovirus outbreak in Mozambique, the preparation of the fifty-ninth edition of the Maputo International Fair, FACIM 2024, among other issues.
