Joint Festive Season Operation Sees More Than 200,000 People Cross the Border

More than 200,000 people crossed the country’s borders during the joint Christmas and New Year’s festive season operation. Of these, more than 100,700 entered and around 97,000 left the country.

The figures were presented by the spokesperson for the Joint Festive Season Operation, Juca Bata.

On the occasion, Bata also said that the information circulating about the reopening of the service point at kilometre 04, on the Ressano Garcia border, was false.
