Frelimo Calls for Intensified Vigilance to Prevent Outbreaks of Instability

The Political Commission of the Frelimo Party is calling on Mozambicans to step up their vigilance in order to prevent any attempt to sow seeds of instability in the country.

This is the appeal launched by the organisation in a statement on the thirty-ninth session of the ruling party’s Political Commission, held yesterday in Matola.

The Political Commission says that this is the moment for Mozambicans, together, to defend the individual and collective heritage that the country has to offer.

The body called on Mozambicans to take the inauguration of President-elect Daniel Chapo next Wednesday as a moment of exaltation and unity for Mozambicans.

Frelimo’s Political Commission has called the third Extraordinary Session of the Central Committee for 14 February, at FRELIMO’s Central School, in the city of Matola.
