Eni Subsidiary Develops Water, Economic Projects in Mozambique

Eni (ENI.MI) subsidiary Eni Rovuma Basin and the government of Mozambique’s Cabo Delgado province carried out projects that aim to improve water access and socio-economic development in the region.

The projects covered the supply of 36 solar water pumps, 10 tons of seeds for food production, beekeeping equipment, eight boreholes, and five latrines to various districts in Cabo Delgado, according to a Tuesday release.

The project development involved Area 4 partners, which include ExxonMobil (XONA.F), China National Petroleum Corp., Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos, Kogas, and Galp (GALP.LS).
