‘The Political Commission is checking the situation that the country is experiencing and we are concerned and we have been seeing outbreaks in which we have seen robberies, destruction of public and private property and this means that people can’t find peace even in their own homes. As the candidate said yesterday, he is open to dialogue, but in the meantime we have to take into account the final position to be given by the Constitutional Council,’ said Ludmila Magune.
On a national level, Frelimo will be taking to the streets to celebrate its victory and the militants want to demonstrate the results that the party and its candidate have achieved.
Frelimo is hopeful that the police will control the demonstrations.
