“Once again, we urge all international and local partners, public and private, to mobilize financial and technological resources to restore and conserve mangrove and rich biodiversity in Mozambique and around the world,” Filipe Nyusi said.

The Summit of Heads of State and Government of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is characterized as the highest moment of COP27, which began with the speech of the President of Egypt advocating for a rapid energy transition in the world.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres pointed out on the occasion that human activity is the cause of the climate crisis, emphasizing that human action must also be the measure to stop the consequences.

Guterres stated that all countries must accelerate the energy transition. For this, he called for a pact between developed and developing countries, and highlighted that China and the United States of America have the added responsibility for the materialization of this pact.
