Mozambique to Benefit from Ugandan Support for Forestry and Wildlife Protection

Mozambique will benefit from the support of Uganda in forest and wildlife protection to eradicate poaching and indiscriminate killing of endangered animal species.

The assurance was given by the President of the Republic of Uganda, Yowery Museveni, for whom the animal conservation areas should serve as sources of revenue generation for the state.

In response to the gesture made by the government of Uganda, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, said that part of his delegation, headed by the National Director of Conservation Areas, will remain in that country to exchange experiences.

The Mozambican Head of State will visit this Thursday agro-livestock projects for the production of food crops and cash crops, in two Farms of Uganda.
