The Mozambican capital, Maputo, will host, from 27 to 28 July, the conference on Marine Biodiversity, one of the objectives of which will be to establish alliances and encourage dialogue on the conservation of marine habitats and species in Mozambique.
The conference, to be organized by the Foundation for the Conservation of Biodiversity (BIOFUND) in partnership with the Ministry of the Sea, Inland Waters and Fisheries, the Wildlife Conservation Society and the Peace Parks Foundation, will bring together representatives of state institutions, civil society, the private sector and local communities and academia, including university children and young people.
According to a press release, an exhibition on marine life ecosystems will be held on the same dates alongside the conference.
