Algeria Funds $250,000 to Support Cyclone Ana Victims

The Algerian Embassy offered last week, in Maputo city, 250 thousand dollars in support to the victims of the tropical storm Ana, registered in January in the northern and central zones of the country.

The check, was delivered to the president of the National Institute for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (INGD), Luísa Meque, in the presence of the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, in the context of international humanitarian aid.

On the occasion, Luísa Meque said that Algeria has always been in solidarity with Mozambique in difficult times, similarly to the help offered at the time of cyclone Idai.
