Mozambican and American technicians from the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) program will soon visit Zambezia province to survey the needs for implementing the second MCC compact, which will last five years.
In the portfolio are projects related to agriculture sectors and tertiary roads.
For this purpose, the group worked for a fortnight with staff from the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and those responsible for implementing the project in order to design and select the priority sectors to be funded.
In this context, the Mozambican government chose to direct the investment to the agriculture and tertiary road construction sectors, as these are the ones facing serious problems related to climate change.
