Over the course of three days, the forum will feature “high-level sessions, strategic panels, and diplomatic and business exhibitions.” Discussions will focus on topics such as the role of tourism in economic diplomacy, the impact of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), the implementation of the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM), and the potential of the African Passport to boost mobility and intra-African trade.

Beyond tourism, the event also seeks to position Africa as a competitive destination for investment in sectors such as infrastructure, energy, agriculture, finance, and digital transformation, while also highlighting the role of the African diaspora in mobilizing knowledge and capital for the continent’s economic transformation. The government considers ADTIF 2025 “a strategic milestone, not only for African economic diplomacy but also for strengthening Mozambique’s position in international tourism and sustainable investment.”
