The National Migration Service of Mozambique (SENAMI) announced that the Ressano Garcia border crossing in Maputo province is now open from 6:00 am to 9:30 pm, as of yesterday, Tuesday, July 27.
The SENAMI announcement explains that the measure adjusts the hours of operation to those of the South African facilities in Lebombo, taking into account the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus, in this specific case the limitation of movement of people in the neighboring country.
SENAMI reiterated that goods vehicles will still be able to cross in any direction until 23:00 hours.
Cargo trucks will be able to cross until 10 pm.
