National Entrepreneurship Conference: ANJE Launches “One Woman, One Province” Project

The National Association of Young Entrepreneurs (ANJE) launched the project “One Woman, One Province” on the morning of Thursday (27), an initiative aimed at promoting female entrepreneurship and highlighting the impact of women across all economic sectors in the country.

Launched during the 11th National Entrepreneurship Conference, the initiative will select 11 women, one from each province, who will receive financial support, training, mentorship, and technical assistance to boost their businesses.

“We believe that all women are entrepreneurs, and this is the beginning of 11 impactful stories and thousands of dreams starting to take shape,” said ANJE President Mara Cancune.

With the support of various companies and partner institutions, the project aims to contribute to a more inclusive, strong, and authentically Mozambican economy, promoting female talent in strategic sectors.

“Talking about youth entrepreneurship is talking about leadership, innovation, and urgency,” the president stated, highlighting that entrepreneurship in Mozambique continues to be an act of resilience and vision, emphasizing the need for closer collaboration between the State, the private sector, and young people, who make up more than 60% of the Mozambican population.

On the same occasion, the National Youth Association formally proposed the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with clear commitments and visible communication channels, to be formalized in the first quarter of 2026.
